dear friends,i am so grateful for the letters and postcards you send me. it always makes my day to find an envelope waiting for me downstairs, and inside, your lovely words and drawings. i have several unsent and unfinished postcards on my desk. for those of you on my mailing list that haven't gotten anything yet, i promise you will; i don't believe in sending banal "wish you were here" affairs, so i wander around looking for inspiration to send something more personalized. it takes longer, but i think it means more. děkuji vám za všechno!
